Took on Umbra the tough again last night with my custom class fighter 25th level, no reloads. BTW these were by no means uber items.

Hmmm and i thought it was pretty kewl. I mean think of it a badarse melee begging for his life to end so you go in the mountains and snipe the hell out of him. I also kite those ancient sleepers guess that is an 'exploit' too.
Look bud somebody asked for help against Umbra and I told em don't get bent just because I didn't play the way 'you' wanted me to play. No judges or gms here. I don't use any hacks or mods that make this easier on me but i will use everything in game to my best advantage and nobody is gonna self-rightously tell me how to 'play'. I bought the game and I'll play it any way I want. If you don't like it go cry a river.

I did a little of everything against him, and hell, if you can hit him with arrows as he runs around like a freshly decapitated chicken, you deserve props. That Cliff Racer got me too, more annoying than anything.
I will go out on a limb here and say that cliff racers are without a doubt the most annoying creatures in the game!

Cj: Everything you say has no pertinence to the original topic I raised. The original topic was the method in which Everquest deals with cheaters like you. Now, of course if you think that has something to do with not liking campers or GMs in EQ, then I guess you are a highly intelligent individual. doc, try to understand what fable is trying to say....this is a flame free zone, and everyone likes it that way..
if you hang around this board long enough, you will realize as long as YOU are civil, everyone will be civil to you....and that no matter how wierd and off beat your ideas about playing mw, someone will listen and no matter how dumb sounding a question is someone will try to answer it, and even if someone behaves like a jerk, hint, hint, we will even put up with that for a while until they understand this may be the most enjoyable and helpful forum on games you will ever find. now, acting in this fashion will only get you banned....it will be irritating to us for a while to have to read posts that are rude, but offenders will be banned, and quite frankly, that is really a BAD THING TO HAPPEN TO YOU....
this is a single person game, and quite frankly cheating in it never hurts anyone....
of course, there is me, who likes best finding new and creative ways to cheat in games...sorta like hacking systems and applications...and everyone in this forum has accepted that, and know most of my posts are about finding new and creative cheese tactics and hacks...

The crux of the misunderstanding here is basically that Everquest and Morrowind have entirely different draws. Morrowind's draw is the "be in an immersive world, fulfill quests" draw. Everquest's draw starts out as the "must get item X! Must get to level Y! Will become cooler than all other people in Norrath!", and then, once you get item X and level Y, it's selling point is "damn! I can't just quit! Not after I went through all this work to get items X and level Y! Yes, I'm having fun with X and Y. Look at me having fun! I'm sure having fun...aren't I?"
Now, the point of everquest is not to have a world where you can go everywhere. Morrowind's point IS. The only problem is that while the players are smart enough to go hide up on rocks, the AI isn't.
So the issue here is that Morrowind's AI can't handle all the cool things that they put into the game. Like being able to levitate. And being able to jump on rocks.
I wonder if there's a way to tweak the AI with the editor...?
