Big Red.
I am playing through for the second time. And in my party is just me and edwin. I would like to kill big red and get the dragon scale for the barbarian since that is one of the only good armor items he can wear. So I was using the cloud kill method just off the screen(yes this is cheesy). Well every time he gets down to near death he casts heal and I need to start all over again. So I was woundering do I need to go in and try to hack him down or does he run out of spells. He seems to have alot of them.
Any insight to this????

If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

The best (or most cheese worthy) way to kill dragons is to cast the level 5 mage spell feeblemind. Just save before casting (while the dragon isn't hostile) and keep trying until one effects gets through. Then proceed to whack the snot out of your drooling dragon. They don't do anything back, they just sit there.

He casts unlimited Heals? How cheesy of him!
Did you install the Baldurdash patches? Those include a slightly cheesed-up version of Dragon "AI", in which they heal and sometimes cast Zone of Sweet Air.
I always wondered what a Dragon was doing with divine spells... Does he pray for them in the morning?

I was actually hoping that they improved the dragon A.I. so that he would act like most of the other creatures, when they are hit (by something) they run in the direction it came from and don't just stand still and go...av....av....uhh....av.....arg....av....arrrrr.
