The BC Liberals won every seat in the legislature but two.... It is not so much that people voted for them as voted against the previous government. However, most people who voted for them did not anticipate the draconian policies which they have been instituting.....and many who have been in the streets protesting actually did in fact give the Liberals their vote....or the Green Party.....

Re: Paul Martin
While I have never really had much empathy with the Paul Martin side of the Federal Liberals.... I think that this was a really stupid move on Chretien's part, and I suspect he will pay dearly because of it.Originally posted by Somerset
What do you think of Paul Martin getting the boot from "The Order"? Tsk Tsk. Keldorn wouldn't be impressed. Should start a new order

About Paul Martin...
If he isn't let back in for the next election, I think the Liberals will not win. The reason they got such a landslide victory last election was because they got 100 of 101 ridings in Ontario, and half the ridings in Quebec. But with Martin gone, that number will barely be half. He would make a much better PM then Jean...
If the Liberals don't win, it might be either the Bloc Quebecois, or the Alliance Party. *shudders both ways*

If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

@HighlordDave: Thanks on both counts.
Definetly gp is loonies and toonies. But does this mean that if you go from Amn to Water Deep ( which is a combination of NYC and Detroit ie. huge and crime ridden) that your GP will have to be exchanged. Is one Amnish coin worth 0.63 Water Deep ones?
I think alot of people voted against the Alliance last election and that is why the Liberals won. Chretien seems like he wants to retire soon. I wouldn't be suprised if he stepped out next election. If he does I think Paul will probably get elected as the leader of the party, if not him than maybe Tobin will be peruaded. The alliance which looks more and more silly every Day (puns are so tempting) will likely loose the opposition to either the PC or the BLoc. I doubt that even if it is Paul as leader that the Libs will have a majority. I just hope Nalia... Err Alexa manages to get at least eleven seats. I would like to have a leftist opposition someday soon.
I still cannot figure out Maple syrup and Bacon.
The female Bard in Trademeet is Celine Dion. Haer'dalis is Rock Voisine. Tea Party is represented by the mage who is tryijng to go bard in the Promenade ( ie. using forieng concepts in music and getting a mixed response).
Shade lord, the shadow Dragon and Firkragg I'm stuck on.

Actually....Nalia is resigning as leader......thank god! So maybe this time round, with some luck, the NDP will elect a leader that has strength, brains and charisma.......I Must be getting optimistic in my old age...
I wonder if we could make the Shade Lord McKenzie King.......
I mean he communed with his dead dog and mother via a chrystal ball, thus he had a connection to the spirit world (@ all, this is actually true)....and despite the vaguely befuddled, benign image, he was actually quite a nasty piece of work.....

How about the Windspear Hills? It's sort of rugged and windswept, and located in the northern section of the map.Originally posted by The Z
What would the Northwest Territories/Nunavet/Yukon be?

There is hope for the NDP yet.
MacKenzie King seems to feet for the Shade Lord. He said at one point in reference to Hitler "He couldn't harm a fly". Does that make John A. MacDonald KanGaxx? John A. was a drunk and KanGaxx is drunk on power.
I don't think the North West, the Yukon, and Nunavut are included. Really they are the property of NATO and NORAD. They aren't really Canadian in that respect. If they were than that would make Firkragg=Chretien and Garen Windspear (or whatever his name is) the Leader of the Inuit.
The Copper Coronet is good fit. What about the CN tower and the Skydome?

The guy to watch will be Frank McKenna - premier of New Brunswick from 1988 - 1998 - quietly waiting in the wings, much loved in NB and has a very Trudeau - esque persona.....
He was almost ready to throw his name into the hat before the last election, but his wife got breast cancer and he withdrew, rumors are he will return soon.........
