There is no Dark Brotherhood faction in Morrowind. You may hear rumors of Daedric worship, but you can't knock on their door and offer yourself as a recruit. ;)
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Are you sure. that there is no Dark Brotherhood that you can join ? I found a book in the Dunmer Temple in Balmora which dealt with the history of the Dark Brotherhood... so there might be a chance you get to join, I think. I also found a book on vampires somewhere, and we know they exist.

Positively, you can't join the Dark Brotherhood. They -are- in game, but as strictly hostile NPCs. They're there for a reason, as they're involved in several quests related to the Morag Tong (as well as one for the Imperial Cult).

Now, it would be interesting if someone modded them into a joinable faction.......

As Cjdevito said, there's absolutely no Dark Brotherhood faction available. Here's a list of the factions and houses, and note, for some people these will be SPOILERS...

There -are- twin lamps quests, but they don't count as a faction.

There's a mod out that expands on the Twin Lamps as an actual 'guild' and provides some additional quests for the organization.
