need axe training

Post by free_fall »

Could someone point me to a regular axe trainer (not the secret master)? Thanks.

... and when I look at you I think, if I were a psychopath and we were standing on an extremely high cliff above a pounding surf that would drown out your scream ... well ... you know ...

The fighter's Guild in Balmora won't, unless you join.

I *thought* I'd run across someone in my travels who did offer this but I can't remember where, thought maybe someone could refresh my memory. (sigh) Guess I'll have to join the fighters

Used the Dwarven axe for a bit, but as my longsword and blunt skills were twice that of my axe I figured 'why bother' - that, of course, was before I got this cool fire-enchanted two-handed axe with 53 chop (Death's Embrace or some such). I suppose I *could* just start using it and build my skill up - what a novel idea! - but when the scary monsters come, I get nervous relying on a 23 axe skill vs a 50+ longsword

Hey, flash95, thanks for the tip - I'll check it out when I get up that way. I've already gone up 2 pts. (from 23 to 25) since my earlier posts.

On a lark, I saved my game and joined the Fighter's Guild in Balmora - no one there offered axe training, unless it was the woman who wouldn't discuss it because I wasn't advanced enough.
