Post by Mystraker »

A loooooooooooooong time ago I made Nalia an Ogre....she has never returned to her normal mage form and she is worth keeping but of very little help without her spell casting...can find no way to change her back anywhere! Is there a way out? Thanks...........Thanks Aqua........no ability to shift back in special abilities....only thing there is set snare.... she has been an ogre for hours of human time play......days in the game... :(

In her Special Abilities area, she *should* have the ability shapeshift back to human.

When you say a "long time ago" how long was it exactly? An hour, or a week in the game? Details help us help you. ;)

You'll have to change the global variables. Don't even bother asking me how to that though. :o You will need ShadowKeeper

Done, per Aqua-chan's suggestion. ;)

I've never encountered this specific problem before.

However,I think Tamerlane's right on this one - Global Variable editing. Sabre seems to know a lot about that.

If you want, I will give you a *really* cheesy technique that *may* get Nalia back to original form without using Shadow Keeper. I'm not sure if it will work, but it's worth a shot if you wanna here it. Here goes:

Get into Nalia's Inventory. Give her a Scroll of Polymorph Self and one of those practically useless potions like the ones that raise your intellegence. Put them right next to each other in HER inventory (Not her Quick Items).

Right-click the potion and select the option "Drink Potion".

As soon as she drinks the potion, exit out of the Potion's info screen and immediatly switch the scroll of Polymorph and Potion around in the inventory (Put the Scroll where the potion just was).

Once you have switched the two around, return back to the game screen. Nalia *should* start casting the Polymorph spell.

If it works (Keyword: IF) then go to the Special Abilities and see if her Regular Shapeshift is there.

Hope this works. I use this cheese all the time, actually... :o

thats an old bug and for some reason it only happens with Nalia i would suggest takeing Jan instead but i hate nalia so nevermind
Ancient times they had no statistics so they had to fall back on lies

"I'm invinceable"
"your a loony"

I'd rather be rich than stupid.

If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.
