How can I lower my reputation....
hey,
I am in the asylum right now and Edwin keeps leaving because of my reputation. What, if anything, can I do in the asylum to lower my reputation? (it is at 19)
If I can somehow make it through without him leaving, what can I do that will only lower my reputation moderatly... like enough to keep him?
THanks...

Either use SHadow Keeper to lower it (This is cheating, I know) or (if you can) leave Spellhold and go back to Brynnlaw to slaughter some Pedestrians.
If these ar not possible, then you'll just have to go on without him.
EDIT: You can also use the "Turn Slayer" ability. This will lower your Reputation 2 points each time it is used.

At some point shortly, your main character is going to gain the ability to become the Slayer. When they become the Slayer, they will automatically lose 2 rep points that they don't regain when changing back. It's an easy way to please evil party NPCs, though don't abuse it--if you lose too much rep, you'll find prices higher, and annoy the good members in your group.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
Shadow Keeper is a downloadable program that allows you to mess around with your game (usually cheating, in some cases it is only used to help you out of a serious jam).
To find a link to download Shadow Keeper, do a look-up in the forums using the keywords "Shadow Keeper". This way, I won't have to drive Fable nuts with useless spamming anymore.

Thanks for making me look bad, Tamerlane. lol!
But Lothgad, make sure you know what you are doing before you going messing with the variables in SK. To be honest, you can *really* mess up your game that way...I speak from experience. I would suggest just using Fable's suggestion simply because that is the safest way to go.

Re: Vicona?
This will not work since you gain 2 rep points when booting her.Originally posted by Chiefthawk
If you have Vicona in your party you can boot her but ask her to stay at the current location. Then invite her back and take a 2 point hit to your reputation.
Although, I doubt you have Vicona in your group with such a lofty reputation.

Are you certain SK will work? I once lowered the rep this way and both Korgan and Viconia left me when a should have (had I not lowered beforehand) hit a to high rep.
Other alternatives is to enter a shop or home (or other secluded area) where you will not need to come back and either hit someone or fail a pick pocket. If you kill someone though, you're rep will lower drastically (see manual for this) so make sure to disable the AI first.

spoiler:
If you can hold out a little bit longer when you get to the drow city you can go into one of the buildings (i think its the tavern upstairs - not sure going off memory) and make human slaves explode! this will lower your reputation by 2 each hit.
regards from the dogg pound....

Six million ways to die - choose one!
Well, yeah... You can do that, too...Originally posted by Snoop Dogg

But I think if I were in the position, I'd just go with Slayer Change.
