Yielding ?!

Post by Loredweller »

"The opponent who yields cannot be slain honorably"
So, they often shout "Don't kill me!" or "Have mercy!" or so, for, though my character never seeks bloodshed, he's always ready to respond with all means to violence. Nonetheless when my char steps back (and he does, it's a character what never can ignore yielding) and they regain their ability or get my char in sight, they attack again even more fiercely. Or might it be my stepback isn't quite right, i'd do it otherway? Are there any way to make peace with yielding opponent?
TIA,
L.

Don't think they've implemented such strong "human behaviour" enemy AI in this game. The only reason they run away when beaten around a bit is to make it tougher for you to follow and kill them. Maybe they quaff a potion or two also. I know you wanna be a virtuous character, but I doubt there is any way to get around the AI fact. I might be wrong though.

Well, they aren't running away, they are staying in place and crying aloud.
