If you had to use the cattle-prod (or the gorin-grabber) its stalking.

I was hoping for one from someone less masculine (: mad: :D @Kam), so I guess in that respect it's just as well you didn't volunteer @Georgi. :p

That's too bad Kam :( *load of big hugs* So is there a way to get a "second chance"? In the Swedish system, if you get an insufficient result in the exams that decide your chances to go to university (and what educations you can apply to), you actually have several chances to improve. One is to retake the exams later, and get a new grade. The second is a test you can take, and if you get a good result you can apply with a combination of your test result and your grades. Do you have anything similar in the UK, or are you basically f-d up now? :(

No no, stalking is just following someone around and spying on them... ;) If I had to use the Groin-Grabber(tm) it woudl be assault

@Ode considering that perma-hug, I'm not really sure what to conclude from that comment... :p

You sound like Xan in BG1. And you don't get a hug since you're my experiment subject, and project leaders aren't allowed to flirt with people they use for experiments, it's the same ethical code as for clinician=patient relations. Of course it is, I said she only partly likes it

Oh, it's a student account, the overdraft is interest-free... At least for a while longer... What are you implying?!

*hug*@Kammy it'll be ok. I completely ****ed up my A-levels, and now look at me. No, wait, that's a bad example...
Aha, good for you it's interest free - mine isn't  Don't scare the poor Kam, he's bad enough off as it is! :D Nothing at all dear Georgi, I'm just suggesting you are somewhat entertained by Dottie's stalking you....pure sadistical pleasure, of course

Thanks... :)

We have nothing like the second option, but I could retake loads of exams. I'd probably not get anywhere doing that though, such is my lack of being bothered with revising when it's not absolutely necessary (i.e. the morning of the exam). I seriously doubt I'll fail to get the grades to make into a university, whether my first choice or my insurance, so hopefully it'll be all OK. I'm only half-way through, though, so things could get worse...

@CE Kammy is being melodramatic. :D Even if you don't get the results you expected, your university might still offer you a place... and if they don't, there's still a strong chance of getting into a different university. ;) Otherwise you can retake, but I think he'd have to wait until next summer. Ah, I see... yes, you have a point.

@Kam which universities are your first choice and insurance? :) (what are you going to study, anyway?)

Melodramatic? Me? Pessimistic maybe, but never melodramatic.

Bristol's my first choice, Manchester my second. I'm going to study Classics :)

Ah, I applied to Bristol... declined their offer though. Both decent universities, I imagine their offers were both fairly high, so I'm sure you have a lot of leeway to find a place through clearing (though I'm also sure it won't come to that) ;) My dad went to Manchester :D

@Kammy & Georgi: For a moment there I thought Kam's future was shattered... ;) Good to hear it is not so. Personally, I was a total failure at that age, I hardly made it through the compulsory school (9 years in Sweden), and I skipped high-school/college, the 3-4 years intermediate step necessary for applying to university. :D And look at me now, I'm doing my PhD at a world-leading lab :D

@Kam: Bristol, that's a very good university, isn't it? I know the guy who's head of the psychology section, he's a really sweet person :) What does it mean to study Classics? Is it language, history or both?

@Dottie: I also liked Xan :D And since you're not allowed to hug me, I'll pass it to Georgi instead. ;)

Well, Perhaps rather frequent occasions lately. :) I still claim that to be rightfully accused of stalkery you have to dislike it and atleast make one atempt to flee me.

@CE: Your not passing on any hugs of mine, I found that quite rude. Besides Georgi is quite capable of getting hugs of her own. ;)

Uh-huh... :D Hmmm, I don't know... maybe the police have a good definition of stalking, shall I call them and see?
