I still have the skin that I got from the tanner quest. I have talked to the guys in Umar Hills, and know that I need the blood of a silver dragon. I am in the Underdark now, and have me the silver dragon. Is the the only silver dragon in the game? Do I kill this one? Any suggestions? What happens (negatively) for killing a *good* dragon? Is it worth it?
THanks.

Tanner quest... in underdark... what to do about silver dragon?
rock out with the **** out
Adalon is the only silver dragon in the game. She won't be easy to kill; she's one of the most powerful dragons in the game. A Good character would never even think of killing her, and Good NPC's in your party would try to stop you, forcing you to fight them as well. But if you're Evil, well...
Also, remember that she's the only one who can get you inside Ust'Natha, so time your attack carefully if you decide to fight her. You don't want to pass up Ust'Natha. And be prepared to find your way out of the Underdark by yourself.

Side with here, and as soon as you ahve the eggs, attack here.
The armour is worth it, if you have a evil character that needs a leather armour.
If not, just kill here for fun, or experience.
I heared that you're able to pickpocket here blood when she's in human form, but that requires good timing. Never tried that myself!

I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

If you do decide to attack her remember that you'll be missing out on the Necaraden's Crossbow +3 (or something like that) which she gives you as a reward for getting her eggs. Killing her only gives some cash and the blood.
I personally found the armor to be pretty useless. All the evil NPC's in the game can wear better, so unless your playing an evil rogue, it's not worth it. On the other hand, the crossbow is extremely fast as crossbows go, one of the better ones in the game next to Firetooth.

As evil, its the only way to go...
SPOLIERS:No rep loss for killing her. You can trade the real dragon eggs with the demon lord for either a way out of the UD (then you don't have to face her at all) or a powerful magic item, in which case you do have to fight her for a scroll to unlock the way out.

I just checked the dialogues, and there doesn't seem to be any dialogue option to tell Adalon that you're going to attack her, so I guess there's no trigger in the scripts to make your Good party members turn on you if you attack her. But there is definitely one situation where Good party members (and Jaheria) will attack you.
SPOILERS
Later in the game, if you select a dialogue option that says that you will let Adalon's eggs come to harm, most of the NPC's will protest. Nalia won't attack you, but she will leave in disgust (so will Cernd). Imoen won't say a word. All of the other Good characters will attack you, including Anomen if he has passed his Test and has become Lawful Good.
A similar situation occurs if you try to kill Valygar for the Cowled Wizards. But since Valygar is a stranger to the group and not as obviously Good as a creature like Adalon, some of the Good NPC's aren't sure enough about the situation to oppose you (although Keldorn and Mazzy will definitely turn on you). Interestingly, Aerie and Minsc express their doubts, but they won't stop you because they put blind faith in you, which is definitely in keeping with their character.
