Valygar.

Post by Maleous »

Im playing a 6 PC Multi game and I want to do the Planar Shere quest. Is there anyway to get into the PLanar sphere without killing him or do I have to dirch one of the members and reload after we're in the sphere.

Im quite sure you have to have valygar with you to enter the sphere, which means you will most likely have to leave somone outside for the quest.. annoying but necessary im sure

Without killing him, the only way is to have him in the party, so you're going to have to remove one of your member and import him/her back in afterwards.

You don't need to kill Valygar, and you don't even have to have him in your party to enter the Planar Sphere. Just keep him in your party long enough to open the door, then dismiss him. You can enter the Sphere without him (or his body).

Well, if you don't want him in your party anyways...you just as well kill him. Otherwise...what's the point? ;) :p :)

That part of the game annoys me...kill Valygar or let him join, rather limited choices if you're playing good. Maybe you can pickpocket his body?

Only an evil character would kill Valygar. You don't have to kill him! Do exactly as VonDondu says, and everything would be just fine. What I usually do if I don't want Valygar with me in the related quest:

I let him join my party and I say to the party member (who necessarily would be out for a while) to go and wait for me at Copper Coronet. Then I go to the Planar Sphere's door, take Valygar out of the party telling him to stay there, go to Copper Coronet, leave the previous party member to rejoin and we all enter the Sphere for the quest. Happy End!

Cheers

I don't agree with that.
I think a lawfull good character would do it to.
He is afterall a murderer

As he's acted in self defence, you could hardly consider him a murderer.

I think a lawfull good character could do it, he's hired to do it,
and would easaly change his mind.

Keldorn is a Lawful Good NPC, but he didn't surrender his wife because of his little mischief. ;)

And I disagree with the opinion of Valygar being a murderer. As Astafas very well pointed out, it was self-defense. If someone try to kill me, but I kill him first, am I a murderer? I don't think so.

Cheers
