Point Buy @ Argyle

Post by Xandax »

The official number that releases with NwN will be point buy 30 - so people this means Argyle will use this number also.

So - you can now beef your characters up by remaking them to fit the point-buy number of 30.

Means the week wizards can finnaly get some more strenght, or the stupid fighters become smarter :)

PM or mail me with the new chars - and I'll update them asap :)
Also all the peolpe that haven't yet made a bio - would be a good time to make one up and contact some DMs from Argyle and let them read it and make suggestions :)

Heh, heh. Or..., the stupid fighters can become stronger! ;) And the sharp witted paladins can get even better looking! :D

I thought 28 was a lot, but 30! Woohoo!

You sure you're not just trying to compensate for somethin', Nip? ;) :D

Of course, we used to have 28 cuz NWN was to go with 25 and Argyle will be harder than your average world. Well..., Argyle will still be harder than your average world, but now you get the same amount as everywhere else. We should feel shortchanged. :)

I've got a question about guild leadership. What will be the exact roles of the various "high-ups?" And we've got to remember that just because some of us may be in the upper-ranks, that doesn't necessarily mean the same will apply to our Argyle guild once established.

Hopefully everyone understands that, and all in-game rankings will be role-played in-game and in-character.

As far as duties outside of Argyle, one of the few things I can think of are contacting everyone within their specific guild to keep them informed of upcoming events.

Another thing we might want to think about, though this is directed more towards Xandax, is having a separate portion of the website for just Argyle BotB. That way, we can keep what's going on in Argyle separate from the rest of the Banshee business...whatever that might be. :)

this is something I've thought of doing - after my exames are done :)

Although the level of the characters outside Argyle really aren't all that importent cause most of the time when we play modules we will proberly make new characters for these modules unless somebody makes a nice long adventure.

And the reason for "leadership" so far is limited - but we will see when Argyle goes live and people start to find together to form BoTB. Can't really wait to see if we can get some storyline into Argyle - could be cool if some members would be randomly attacked by undead hunting the Banshee "spawn"

This is one thing they have considered doing. Our guild history gives us a quest already, the demon spawn. That is all I will say... ;) :D

On another note, if you want to have a second character, @ Aegis, perhaps you might want to join BotB later on. :)
