weird icon??

I was recently doing Edwin's quest for experience, and at the end of it I noticed that Amonen had a weird icon in his picture. It looked like a pair of lips. I checked his personal status and it didn't list it. he acted fine, the only thing that was affected was that i couldn't rest. I ended up kicking him out then immediately brought him back and it was gone, but then he mentions that I left Garren Windspears kid alone in the wilderness, so I checked my journal and I had saved the kid. Any body know what the icon was?

Sounds like a bug, if the icon is what I think it is... Is it the same icon showing up when you talk to someone?

From your description, that icon - which appears on one of the top corner of the character's portrait - indicates that that person is currently in dialogue mode. Not too sure what happen though, but it seems that Anomen was supposed to say something but didn't for some reason and the game thinks that he is still talking.

Edit - Opps, didn't read the post carefully enough, it should have been Anomen, not Edwin.

no, it only showed up once and after i dropped Amonen and then picked him back up it was gone and i haven't seen it since.

that makes sense, Sabre, since he mentioned Garrens kid as soon as i picked him back up, even though he was wrong.

You know, I think I had that same issue a looong time back.

For some reason, Anomen had a lot of buggy dialoques in my game, so I just restarted (I was have the same problem with Jaheira and Aerie as well.) That seemed to fix things up.

Probably just a faulty dialoque file. I have no idea, but it has happened.
