planar sphere

i'm on the planar sphere quest and the first room (on the left) has an invulnerable hasted golem in it, i cant figure out how to kill/get around him, any suggestions?

That's a clay golem, you have to hit them with Magical Blunt weapons like maces, clubs, flails and quarterstaffs. They are immune to edged weapons and pretty much immune to spells too.

always good to have some decent crushing weapons for these situations
