Over at http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind/ they've put up three mods by one group of mod makers. Each of these mods puts in a residence someplace; one in gnisis, one in dagon fel, one in balmora. I downloaded the balmora one tonight.
This is one of the best housing mods to show up so far. No cheats, no built in teleports, no chests full of uber items to exploit. Just an extremely attractive, well laid-out house in the west end of Balmora.
There's plenty of storage space here, plus plenty of display space as well. The makers have a web site with screen shots that you can check out at http://mindhook.com/morrowindabodes/you ... dence.html
This is not a dramatic mod, or a powergaming mod. It's simply a house -- a well designed, well implemented house -- made by some folks who obviously really cared about the quality of their finished product.

looks good, got a question, though...
how do you put items on shelves???
the reason i like the hlau stronghold is lots of containers, since i cant figure out how to put my wonderful loot on nice display....
i assume the closets offer many containers, right??
anyway, i would like a teleport chamber...though....
saves much walking,eh???
got guards???
id love a patrol of scamps or patrol rats or even a guard of corpus walkers, adds to the decor...ick...

Nice, but I'd rather have something that looks more unassuming from the outside.
Also would be good to have a quest to get the house, rather than having the house just appear. The quest could just be a vendor that you have to buy the key from.
Hell, I'm level 3 with a reputation of 2 - where did I get such a house?

Urgent question
There are 3 Morrowind Abodes available: Balmora, Gnisis, Dagon Fel. There's a question the answer might be experienced by somebody: does not the Dagon Fel residence conflict with Adamantium Helm mod? That's the same area after all.
TIA,
L.

Love the house but already running out of storage space!
Chests hold only 200 lbs. max.
Guess I should have a yard sale.
