Anyone solo'd a priest of lathander through the game? Or any type of cleric for that matter, as long as it isnt multi/dualed? How do they fare as solo'ers?

I can imagine they arent too good, since they only have one attack.. Many of the biggest creatures regenerate faster than you hit, like kangaxx, and the dragons will ruin you. Of course it is possible, with the mace of disruption on kangaxx and a lot of summoned monsters on dragons, but i cant see them to be among the best soloers, and it would take a LOOONG time to kill even the easier monsters due to few attacks and poor THAC0...

Dualclass is the way to go with clerics
Sigurd, Crazed Cleric of Talos, Servant of Evil.

The ground rule here is any class, kit, dual or multi can solo.

Just has various levels of difficulty.

I'd say a cleric is one of the hardest.

Boon of Lathander gives an extra attack, but that is still not enough to tank. Pure clerics are not fighters, they should use spells to attacs, not just for self-enhancement.
Either summon Skeleton Warriors or hit the evil enemies with Holy Smite (probably not both). Globe of Blades is also great. In boss fights cast Magic Resistance and Harm.
