The "Fear" test in hell revard
If you take the good path you'll get immune to +1 weapons and less. Do this make your character immune to all normal weapons too? Normal missiles? I was thinking about taking the good path here and cast "protection from magical weapons" on my Kensai/mage so that he would become invulnerable for 4 rounds in combat
. Now, will this work?

You could become invulnerable. When you fight enemies wielding enchanted weapons, casting "protection from magical weapons" will be sufficient. They simply won't draw "normal" weapons then.
Immunity to normal weapons is pretty useless. It doesn't help you against Irenicus and his demons. In the TOB expansion magical weapons ist standard equipment - the very few enemies using "normal" armament are cannon fodder, anyways.
Just remember that your main character, if of good or neutral alignment, will become evil if you take the "evil" path.

It's fun to use on Sarevok, since he doesn't have a +2 or better weapon.
I imagine it saves you the occasional critical hit from all those grunts in ToB's massive army battles as well.

I think it a great reward to get. Immunity to +1 or less saves your hide in the first encounters of ToB.

In Saradush a lot of enemies wield +1 weapons or even normal ones, so you won't get hit until the final encounter there.
Most of Yaga-Shuras men (real men) can't hit you either.
The Oasis only the general and one of his captains is able to hit you, and you take down those first, of cause.
As Xyx stated, it will save your healing potions (and spells) having it, far more than one extra point in constitution (which isn't that big of a deal - 18 more hitpoint, if you're a fighter, out of 140+, who cares?)
As a last note, I was really pleased with that reward as it definitly made my character feel more godly.
