Over 30 hours estimated MINIMUM of added gameplay.

So... "where do you get it exactly?" I hear you all cry. Well there are several places in the works, at the moment from :

If I asked, would you answer? Its your problem. Its a deep, deep problem. I have no way to ask about that... I have no elegant way of stepping into your heart without tracking in filth. So I will wait. Someday, when you want to tell me, tell me then. -Bleach

TDD's development started a long time before ToB was announced, so it's not compatible yet. AT least, that's what I gathered from the TeamBG message boards and the official TDD site.

The way I'd do it, is:

- make a backup of your saved games
- uninstall SoA/ToB
- install SoA
- copy all SoA files to a new directory
- install ToB and all applicable patches in the first SoA directory: this is where you continue your ToB game
- install all applicable SoA patches in the second SoA directory, the folow with TDD

This should give you a SoA/ToB and a SoA/TDD version of the game. Add appropriate links, and you're set to go.

Problem is hard drive space. BG2 recommended install is 1.2 gigs. I have only 1.5 gigs on my personal hard drive, so I can't download it (hopefully it will be made compatible).
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

Nice going. I look forward to trying it very soon, right from the beginning (especially since you've got 75 kits).

At the risk of seeming naive, wasn't this the major mod that was discussed about three months ago, on this board? Or am I thinking of another one?

I spent 4 hours downloading it, then cancelled install when it said 'Uncompatible with Throne of Bhaal.' Although the expansion is considered by many to not be that great, my favorite character is higher level than the exp cap in SoA, so I can't import them into the expansion. Mutter.

Doesn't work. The registry has to be set up for a single copy of SoA or SoA/ToB. I've even tried it on two separate drives, and clicking on the non-ToB, TDD-version *still* brings up the ToB menus, and only the SoA/ToB starter kits.

Another point: the Baldurdash patches check your registry to see which version is installed. If you have both standard SoA/ToB and SoA/TDD installations, it will refuse to install the SoA bugfix patches on SoA/TDD, since it only sees the SoA/ToB installation.

This *isn't* meant as a slam against TDD, which I fully intend to play right now. It just means we're all going to have to set aside our current ToB games in order to try out TDD. Until somebody has another solution...?

Hey, they just got the mod out. Let 'em have time to celebrate, and rest up. Besides, they deserve a round of applause. :D

@Musashi, weren't you working on your own mod, at one time?

been playing TDD for a couple days now...what a wonderful addition to SoA. I can't believe something as cool as TDD is free. I'd trade ToB for TDD any day, and I paid 30 bucks for ToB.
