lol! Well....if the mosquito netting on the tent is working properly the bugs are not too much of a problem....but I guess they could always be viewed as extra protein in the morning oatmeal :D

ROFLMAO :D :D

May I help myself to some biscuits?

I like B&B stays too, when possible and if only doing day-tours. To me, camping is fine too in uninhabited areas and when going for long climbes or hillwalks. :)

Re: Re: *flashes new biscuit buying license*

@DW - LMAO! :D
It is not so much the mossies - though they made an embarrassing meal of me in Greece  not often, thanfully, but in embarrassing areas *eek* at least the kids were amused

It is the creepy hard shelled critters, and the big hairy flying things that freak me...we had a moth the size of a small bird in our house the other day!!! Ok, a slight exaggeration, but they are so RUDE!!! they fly *at* you! there is no grace and pardon me like a butterfly has...and no pretty colours that have you forgiving them!!

:D

Of course you may :)

I am sure I will get dragged out camping one day...my son is in Beavers (will become a Cub at 8, then a Scout later) they go on camping weekends....but now with all this political correctness it is a 'parent' invited, and not the father as it used to be  :D

I doubt it, then she would be cruel to more people here... I think it is more likely that she is a sadist. ;)

@CE: As you can see I left out all sad faces in my post to avoid disturbing Georgis sleep. :D

LMAO! :D I have an amusing story on the subject of new cars. My hubby has hit midlife crisis (my arguement :D ) suddenly he is so desperate for a soft top two seater sports car. So we went out 'browsing' last weekend and ended up putting down a deposit on a car yet to be built...(our son and daughter present at the negotiations)

So...our boy gets an outstanding report from school (I was so pleased for him :) ) and I offer to buy a treat for his achievement. He told me how much he fancied this new game, but went on to add that he didn't want us wasting our money as we had done on the car!! :D (of course this was a modesty trick, he already knew the game was in the bag ;) ) he just has different motivations to his father...

lmao! When we were at some hotsprings a little while ago that happened to my son. He thought it served as a good excuse to scratch himself in public........ :o :D

Why the rolleyes? Ok, I admitt my primary reason for leaving the sad faces out of the post was that you shouldnt accuse me of crying for Georgi, But concern over her sleep (or job hunitng) was a close second

@CE - you are making me feel sick! :o beetles were the hard shelled critters I was trying not to think of...though I am sure I could light a fire anywhere :) My boy will not be a politician by profession - I hope not anyway. He is good, but he is male and predictable...I already have interested contacts in Sony! :D A much more interesting profession as far as I am concerned!

The car in question was the one in the photo thread - what gets me is my hubby is expecting updates everyday!! it has not even gone into production yet

@DW - LMAO! :D Boys! No, I wasn't bittin there, let us just say mossies like the fleshier parts ;)

If my son wanted to become a politition I think I would disown him.... :D My partner used to work in politics as a ministerial assistant (The programme West Wing gives an idea of the sort of job he did). Suffice to say...what I saw during that time made me even more cynical about politics than I was previously.

Indeed....do you ever get the sense that certain male tendencies begin very young.... :D

Hi Ysh...

Sorry?

Concerning politicians I actually met a person rather recently that made me change my cynical view of that profession somewhat. :)

I figure that in some cases life would be so much easier if we could just contain adult males in playpens when they get out of hand.... :D
