Hello DW, how are you today?
I've been slightly more productive today, but my main reason for going to work was that we were celebrating a colleague who is leaving and moving back to the UK, where is from. We celebrated with beer tasting, he introduced us to a variety of South East English Ales I only took a sip of each since I can't really drink alcohol, but I still went a bit dizzy

@DW: Your day sounds went spent too Shadowkeeper is an excellent little program
Have you got NWN yet? It is released here on Friday, but I won't buy it then since I'm going on holiday and have no time to play anyway until the middle or end of July.

I have discovered that shadow Keeper is well worth it. I actually installed the programme because I accidentally deleted the game in which I had just obtained Daystar.... But of course, while editing I could not resist bringing in a very nice acid katana that comes with the Solaufein mod
No I have not bought it yet.... I am waiting a bit...
I have to run and get my son from school back soon

Yes...I do. He actually has a backbone and does not require hand holding. Also refreshing is that he discusses poetry and philosphy with the PC (and the rest of the party members)Originally posted by C Elegans

It was a long time ago I played BG2, but at the time, I didn't like any of the romance options. Anomen was too independant and to "knight"-like, Viconia was too much of a teenage boy wet dream, Aerie - well, I made her a statue at the Copper Coronet, couldn't stand the whining and infantile searching for confirmation. Jaheira was the least bad, IMO, but still too "*****y" for my taste. The other NPC:s didn't call for romance mods either IMO - with the possible exception of Solaufein. I actually DL:ed the mod a long time ago, I will have to try it - when I have time.Originally posted by Dottie

@CE, I think you might like Sola
being the consumate sucker for the dark, brooding, philosophical types I have found him the best romance that I've tried
lol! Of all the NPCs it is Nalia that I hate the most....IMO she is a patronizing, upperclass do gooder who doesn't have the slightest idea about poverty.......
Aerie annoys me, but she can be quite useful at least. Nalia is a lousy thief and there are better mages... But yes...it is a toss up as to which is more irritating........

Though I admitt when she asked that "do I look beautifull despite my wings" question, she almost managed to get me to hate her as much as nalia.

Absolutely. The worst thing was when she declined my marriage proposal because "it wouldnt be good form to marry peasant". I mean if im willing to marry that horrible thing just so she can keep her damn castle then she should damn well apreciate it.Originally posted by dragon wench

@DW: An intellectual rebel with a backbone and who acts on his ideas - great (But is has worked out fairly well IRL too )
The choice between a hypocrite and a constant whiner is not an easy one - Nalia ended up as a squirrel, keeping the Aerie statue at CC company
DW is right Nalia is less useful...but still, I have an allergy towards infantile whining
