Errr doesn't everyone know who Creeper is? He's the merchant in the Ghorak Manor in Caldera. All you can do is barter with him...no persuasion, nothing - and he buys and sells things for full price. He has 5000 septims, refreshed every 24 hours. As to what happened, I don't know. Did you sell stuff to him for all his 5k, then buy the Sword Of White Woe back off him for 17k without noticing?

Hey, don't worry. I'm not laughing at you, most of this stuff depends on how much you go hunting around spoiler sites :)

There is an even more stinkingly rich merchant: The Drunken Mudcrab. Yes, you heard me right, a mudcrab :D Here's how to find him:
The best way I've found to get to the drunken crab merchant is to go to Suran. Leave the town going south along the coastline. (not much water to cross this way) Go down the coast until you reach the point where the coast turns east. Go into the water still going south. There are ruins called Mzahnch (look at the paper map). You should see the ruins to the SW shortly after you enter the water. (there are a couple of small island you cross to get to Mzahnch) the drunken crab merchant is on the first small island off the southeast corner of the island that the ruins are on.
TIP..Don't kill any crabs in the area until you try to talk to them first. I killed him once when a cliff racer attacked while I was next to him. I had to back up 2 hours to reload.
He has 10000 septims to trade with you! Just be careful not to kill him, or if you're resting (so that he'll get his money back) and something disturbs you, don't cast anything that might kill him. Also a good idea is to cast a Mark spell next to him so that when you're overloaded with stuff (or even when you're not) you can just cast a Recall to get back to him.

Oh, and I would never make fun of anyone for being new at something. For being criminally stupid, maybe, but not simply because they were inexperienced. After all, we're all new at one time or another - if you're nice and help people then they'll do the same for you. This is the way that GB works, and why it's forums are the best in the world. *sheds a tear* Thanks, Buck! I don't know how you did it but it's amazing :D

ROFL ! Ill have to check that mudcrab out sometime hehe...
I agree with u that the GB forums are some of the best around, most of the people here are nice and friendly (and funny !), the forums are quick and have a nice layout. And theres not that "hey, guess what! I found a n00b, lets go kick his *blip* !!" spirit... if u follow me :D
