Dweomer Ruins Quest for Fighter Guild

Post by bigbluepaw »

This is the quest the head of the Balmora fighter guild gives you when Caius Casades sends you to him.

I cleared out the dungeon quickly enough, but there's one last issue. There's a room that's flooded with water with an existing bridge and a downed one. Looks like lava filled up part of the room.

This room has a couple different levels, with machines operating on the higher ones. I can't get to them and have racked my brain.

Any suggestions or hints?

USE A LEVITATE SPELL. HOWEVER DEPENDING ON HOW HIGH YOUR CHARACTERS LEVEL IS, YOU MIGHT GET OVER POWERED (ACCORDING TO THE HINT GUIDE).

Did the hint guide use capitals all the way through too? :D

Yes, you can use either a rising force potion (levitate) or a scroll of Icarian Flight or somesuch other jump-enhancing spell. The only thing on the top levels (that you can't jump to) is a chest. Not your standard chest, but one of the chests that gives you weapons or armour based on your character level. At level 1, you are likely to get cheapo Chitin armour or something. At level 10, you'll probably get some Dwemer armour, which is good heavy armour that will last you until you get Ebony or Daedric. But at higher levels, the chest will become a thing of legend - save it until then, and when you loot it, there is a good chance that it will have Daedric armour or weapons in it, that even if you don't need can be sold for a heap of cash. So if you're a low level, save the chest and don't go up there till about level 30 :)
