Has anyone completed that contest under the Inn at the Green Garrison (I dont think that is the exact name but it is something of that nature Sorry I can't remember it). Anyways if you have done it you should know what I am talking about. It is the contest held under the Inn and the winner gets all the entrance money (you pay 500 gold to enter). Anyway what I need to know is, at the end, you have to place an item in the chest to exit the dungeon, and I am not sure what item I have to put in there. It is really annoying me now because I cant figure it out and I don't know if I even have it on me! Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

you should have put a spoilers warning in your post!
Ancient times they had no statistics so they had to fall back on lies
"I'm invinceable"
"your a loony"
I'd rather be rich than stupid.
If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Please remember to put spoiler in the topic also in the future.
That way people will have a better warning about the spoiler.

Well I don't know if each time is different, but I would bet it is. You just have to get to the end and answer the riddle with the correct item. I had 4 different items from that dungeon that could be used at the end. Of course only 1 of them worked. The riddle was an easy one, and anyone who has ever read the Hobbit should know the answer:
A treasure chest without hinges, lock or lid.
Yet inside a golden treasure is hid.
