Can't even start the game...

Right after the intro movie, my game friezes...
I get the logo's of NwN and all those little ones (for instance gamespy) and the little mouse hand.
But then... nothing.

Has anybody exerianced (and solved) this too or do you have an idea to what could solve it?

Any help would be appriciated.

I have XP with all the paches, and I've run the update for NwN.

Btw, after installing the newest pach, the buttuns on the autorun have disappeared.

And I've just installed the latest detonator drivers... without succes.

I hate it when they sell stuff that just doesn't work.

Try disabling sound or get the lastest drivers. I have a feeling that sound is abit freaky in this game. Especially EAX.

Perhaps my soundcard it too old to.

Ps. The installing of the official pach made all my buttons on my menu's disappear.
So watch out with that.

Well, I reiinstalled the game and started playeing WITHOUT the paches....

and it worked!

Last time I've tried updating this game!

Menu's are fine and it runs smooth so far.

(with sound enabled that is
