death to shadow thieves

Post by ocularus »

I'm in chapter 6 and ready to take down Jon Irenicus. I've taken out all the shadow thieves in the stronghold including Renal Bloodscalp and Aran Lansvile (sp?)
Question....what impact if any is there in killing off these goons?
Go ahead and spoil it for me....

None whatsoever (I think). They are no longer important to the plot.

If you have already killed Bodhi, then having sided with her in Chapter Three and killing the Shadow Thieves will have no effect on your game. The only consequence for siding with Bodhi and killing the Shadow Thieves is that it makes other people such as Drizzt and the Order of the Radiant Heart less likely to help you destroy Bodhi. If you act like a jerk to them or try to claim the moral high ground and say that the Shadow Thieves deserved to die, they won't give you any aid. But if you are humble and say that you hadn't realized how evil Bodhi is, they will still help you kill her. Otherwise, no one in Amn mourns the loss of the Shadow Thieves. Good riddance to them, I say. :)

Do you need to be a Paladin to get the Order of the Radiant Heart to help you?

No, you don't. Just go into the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart building and ask one of the main dudes. :)

I really didn't know that! All this time I've just been using Drizzt and friends (or just by myself). I'll have to try it next time through.

The Shadow Thieves are no longer important to the game and you can still get the Radiant Heart and Drizzt to help you. They never were much help with the vampires anyways.
