Help with 9th lvl sorceror spells

I finally reached lvl 18 and was looking forward to selecting a good 9th lvl spell, but now when I lvl it says that I can't select 9th lvl spells because my base ablility score is not high enough. I have

11 str
12 con
12 dex
13 int
10 wis
18 cha

I thought the governing ability for sorcerors was charisma
so which one do I need to raise and by how much??

you have to have a 19 charisma to cast 9th level sorceror spells

Just buy a nymphs cloak, they give 1-5 charisma and u shoudl be set.......

yeah I figured it out myself, but getting a nymph cloak won't help as you suggest dakkon, my charisma with some items is 21 and it doesn't help, I'm pretty sure that in this game you need 19 BASE charisma to cast 9 lvl spells.

hmm that stinks, i dunno if its 18 or 20 but aroudn that level you get another base point......so you could make ure charsima 19........

man that's gotta stink. that's like a fighter not being able to use magic weapons, or a monk not being able to attack with his fists lol.

You gotta have a base of 19 in your charisma (so not magically/item enhanced).

Looks like you'll have to wait untill your next ability score upgrade.
