Maybe everybody already knows about Imeon's "immortality", maybe not. (Maybe nobody is interested, either)
I'd never tried to push it to the final end since yesterday night, but then, what happened kind of surprised me...
There's a noteworthy amount of cheese involved too, I guess.
If someone knows what I'm talking about and is interested in the experiment, or someone doesn't know what I'm talking about and is interested in spoilers, just ask.
(otherwise, lets allow this thread to just die silently)

And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...
A lot of people know Immie's invincible in Irenicus dungeon, it's been found that the cause is her belt (note it disappears when you get her back).
If you export/import a high level mage and cast Shapeshift it is possible to kill her with intelligence drain.

My latest discovery is about the fact she is also capable of escaping Irenicus dungeon all by herself, at any moment, no matter what you do...
While we silly others are bound to find keys to open doors and objects to make portals work...

I'm wondering what happens then when you exit the dungeon...
Bet she respawns miracolously unharmed

If I recall correctly, Imoen is invincible even WITHOUT the belt. She has protection against most forms of damage, including Petrification, and her hit points cannot drop below 1. Bioware wants her to appear in the cut-scene when you emerge from Irenicus's dungeon, and they have taken extraordinary steps to ensure her survival. If she sustains a lot of injuries and flees from Irenicus's dungeon, she will still appear in the cut-scene. Even if you manage to kill her, she will STILL appear in the cut-scene.
There are other ways to kill her besides Intelligence Drain, but I can't remember what they are now. Exploring the "mystery" of Imoen's Belt was fun for me for a day or two, but that was a long time ago.

It's the belt she's wearing at the start that gives her all those immunities, as well as the immunity from death. You are right, however, she will appear miraculously unharmed if she dies for real in the dungeon.

I recall reading an interview with someone from Bioware that mentioned Imoen's belt, and the fact that it alone causes Immy to be invulnerable to death until you escape Irenicus' prison (whereupon it disappears). The guy mentioned the necessity of her survival to the storyline. Of course, why anyone would want to kill poor Imoen is beyond me. Now Aerie or Nalia, I can understand...
