Help! - I Need to bring my party back to life (spoilers)

Post by Cloud »

I fought Ravel in her maze and during the battle all my party was killed, I gave all the equipment I needed to the Nameless One and took the portal to curst. Unfortunately I cannot find anywhere that sells scrolls of raise dead or a person who can raise my dead party members.

Is there a shop or person in curst that can bring my part members back to life?

I dont really fancy going back and doing all that dialogue with Ravel again.

Ouch, you can get the ability to "Raise Dead" three times a day right in the beginning of the game. For future reference it is Deionarra, the ghost in the Mortuary, you talk to in order to get it.

Ok, there is someone in Curst who can raise your dead party members. Kyse the Caretaker is a priest.
But before you can access his spells you have to do the quest involving him. Go to the Bar/Hotel on the right side of the first area in Curst and talk to the bartender to get the quest involving the portal out of the place. The people in the bar will send you on a bunch of quests until you will eventually get to the quest involving Kyse. Once that quest is finished Kyse will tell you that if you ever need healing or whatever to come to him.

In other words - just do the quests in Curst and you will soon come to it.

Right, its strange that I didnt get the raise dead ability, I spoke to her but i guess I didnt choose the right dialogue, she put a curse on me instead. I think i am doing the quest at the moment, the one where you have to rescue someones daughter, however she keeps getting killed because i have only nameless one to fight the guards and he is a mage. Oh well, guess I will have to go back after all.

Thanks for your help

Yes, you definitely chose the wrong path in speaking with her! That only happens when you refeuse to go along with her image of a loving husband-figure. I don't know if you can change this by speaking with her again, but you can try.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yes, getting Deionarra to forgive you is easier than getting her mad at you. But the 'Raise Dead' ability won't be much use by the time Cloud can get to her again.
