help me to open this door!!!

i went to this place call "de'Arnise Hold" and i enter the side door, when i exit the building (the castle). i wanted to go back in, but the front door (the big one with a bridge) was closed, and the side secret door won't show up, so i can't enter the building!!! what should i do?

It's definitely there, you just have to search for it. I had the same thing happen to me once.

Do not walk around, just stand still where you think it is.
And I believe detect trapmode helps.

i try to stand where it is, but still it won't show up!! but i will try detect trap then!!! thanks!!

Put your theif on Detecting Traps over by the side where the rocks go in a bit, its right across from the palisade. You're garuneteed to find it then. As for the main door you can open it once your in the castle.

I once had the same trouble

When you finish the quests and leave the stronghold the bridge was oulled up and the secret passage dissapeared

I don't know why but no amount of trap searching helped

As I said had I already finished the quest so I gave it up but if you want something inside I don't know how to get it

and when i go to the map, it still shows where is the side door, so it's must be there!!!

once the quest is finished you cant get back into to get the last of the loot...

cntrl-j might work, but most likely not... youre better of reloading from archived save...

ctrl J is a code that instantly teleports you to you're cursor location.
it's one of the cheat codes in BG2

you can't get in (without cheating ) if you finished the quest
i had this every time after completing the quest

As did I, twice forgetting to forge the Flail of Ages

IIRC the only way to keep the hold available after completing the quest is to romance Nalia...
