Tanglebrook murder

Post by skywise »

How do I finish the Tanglebrook quest in the Peninsula district?
I found the corpse of the woman on the chessboard (hole in head, brain sucked out), found her journal, killed the intellect devourer. Everything in that area is finished except that the damn quest entry is hanging around :P
What did I miss? How do I finally move that entry to finished quests?

I believe you have to give the journal to somebody...?

spoiler

the same thing happened to me. i enter tanglewood but did not go through the door by the chess set. i ended up going through the front door of the prison and cleared it.

you need to enter the prison through the door by the chess board in order to get to the gailors room. this can be done at any point.

hope this makes sense.

Oops, yeah you're right. It's one of those multiple paths to a single goal sort of deals. I always take all of them anyway, just to make sure I've killed all the monsters and gotten all the chests.

Thanks, quest solved :)
It's kinda sad though that you have to move from chessboard to prison and not the other way around to get this solved.
