Girl in the Underdark

Post by Vivien »

While meandering through the Underdark, admiring our new drow bodies, my group noticed this elven type of girl run by shouting for help. Following after her was a drow enforcer of some sort, and of course I gave him poor directions. ;) I was wondering if anyone had any insight into this… Does the girl show up later? Is there a quest related to it? Thanks if anyone has an idea :)

(I’ve tried to find this info on my own, ran several searches on the forum, checked several walkthroughs, I’m thinking it’s just not important enough for anyone to write anything about, but hey, it’s important to me) ;)

I met her several times in different games, I don't think it matters what directions you give to the guy, since you never meet neither him nor the girl again, and as far as I know there is no quest attached.
Perhaps it was just inserted as one of those things that add to the overall atmosphere in the game.

I'm curious what would happen if you had a good party with a paladin in it, and gave the enforcer accurate directions. Perhaps the paladin would lose his powers.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

As far as I can tell (and several game guides agree) there are no consequences whatsoever to the girl in the Underdark decision. I do wonder about the Paladin status, though...

In any case, I thought it was a marvellous touch.

I had a paladin at the time, and my heart went out to that poor girl...

What if *I* were stuck in that underground den of evil, kept for mysterious and foul purposes... ;)

*Decides to cast 'hold person' on her next time and see what happens*

(I know..nothing..but it's fun to play around) :)
