Alright, Saien's about to have a little tango with Hilden. Don't know how it's gonna turn out, but we'll see. Hilden, by the way, is not the magic-caster. That's someone else.
Also, something I had in mind for a time now, it plays out something like this. Whoever battles the half-orc, which at the moment seems to be Connavar, either eventually bull-rushes the half-orc or is bull-rushed by the half-orc. The result, is that the pair crash through a boarded window falling from the second story of a building onto the muddy ground below. If it were me, I would write that the Half-orc was underneath our character when the two hit the ground, so he was much more bruised from the fall.
Now, both half-orc and blade bruised and numbed from the fall, as they gather their senses, the blade notices something strange in the distance of the dark, rainy street. Two large hounds walking slowly towards them, fiery red eyes glowing in the night as steam hisses off their backs from where the rain hits. If you haven't guessed it, they're hell-hounds, sent by the demons to track our characters into Arberdan. Whoever writes this should add some dramatic details such as "the hounds raise their heads to the storming sky, howling into the night as they have apparently found their quarry. Fire spouts from their mouths, steaming into the rain. The pair then begins to circle." Something like that.
Now, they way I had envisioned it was the half-orc charging the pair, and of course getting the crap kicked out of him. Then, perhaps Connavar (or whoever) can fight the good fight on his own
, another blade can make his way to help, or several cloaked ones can arrive on the scene long enough to distract and/or slay the pair of hounds.
What do ya think?
And Wolven....what was that blue image thing at the end of your post? Could you clarify what exactly happened there a bit.

I'm going to revive the story thread tomorrow with a new post (which I've already started so nobody add to the story yet), partly because I've got a slight creative burst and little to channel it into. Still upgrading my system to fit NWN requirements. *grumble, grumble*
@wolven- could you edit your last Story post to insert Nolan's name where you wrote Saigo. It gets a bit confusing.

Hello Gentlemen,
I had thought this thread and story dead, and had not planned on continuing on anytime soon. However, seeing as y'all are still interested, I'll recommit.
I'll be getting back home from vacation tomorrow evening, and will continue the story with a reply at that time.
Talk to you guys soon!
AJ
