an old great game

Post by Gorgan »

there was a game that came out a long time ago. it was played on the SNES. I cant remember the name of it though. The only thing i have to go by is that i remember in the middle or beginning you get put into a jail cell and then you have to use your flute or what ever to call an animal to help you. Please help. Im dying to know what this game was

It's a real pity that ever since the N64 came out there haven't been any more RPGs in the opld Squaresoft style aside from the FF series.
If they'd just re-release classics like Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana for the newer systems it'd be nice IMO.

Chrono Cross was a sorry excuse for a sequel. As is most of the Final Fantasy's coming out for the Playstation. The last good FF game that came out was Final Fantasy Tactics, and that was it.

unfortunately true. FF7 rocked, and so did the import i got of final fantasy tactics, but FF8 was very dissapointing, and i've slowly lost faith with the series from that point on.
