Familiars

Post by EtherImp »

Is it possible, through shadowkeeper, to assign a familiar to your mage who is NOT the protagonist... Or possibly give somebody like a Ranger or a Druid a familiar? I know in AD&D you can get animal companions that stay with you (kinda like Boo for Minsc.).. So is it possible and if so how would you go about this?
You know your worth when your enemies praise your architecture of aggression.

Ok, set the game to multiplayer, with the first slot filled with a mage. Get a familiar. Then save the game, reload and reassign the first slot so you have your desired character as leader. The familiar will then belong to him/her. It's that easy.

OR

Go to inventory screen. Pause. Drink a potion and then place a find familiar scroll in place of the potion. The character (most be protagonist) will then cast find familiar.

Hope that helps.

So I just stood and listened.
