ok, some of us dont like to use secret masters, and try to role play, so you are a fighter type, with almost no ability in sneak or security...
so how do you loot hlau or reldy vaults, or that nice alchemist in the corner when youre short on funds???
get the "ring of userunfriendly"
patent pending....
this ring makes you a unstopable sneak thief, you can actually raid people you only dreamed about...
cast when used, and use a good high powered ring, like exquisite, and a good gem, like saint.....
telekensis, 100ft for 8 seconds,
open 100 points!!!
well in theory they should work together, and telekensis and open in once click, but nah...takes a click and a second one several seconds later...
yes, you can duplicate the effect with 2 rings, one open and one tele, but this way you have only one itme to worry about...
so get yourself out of sight of the target, and aim like a ranged weapon at the chest or what ever, click, wait and click a second later, and press space bar, to open up the chest, take out what you want, and leave quietly, giggling...
nice thing is, you are training in enchant, and you can even do this trick way across the room...
and no you dont need a good sneak ability, i tried using this ring on reldy vaults, and timed it exactly when no body was facing me and not even the guard right next to the vault noticed...so even though you think med armor is for sissys, and you thnk high tech is a crossbow, and you havent bathed in a month cause you lost your shirt opener....
dont despair, the ring of userunfriendly can take care of your theft needs...

This game was just MADE for cheese...I can tell you're getting bored with the simplicity of breaking the game difficulty-wise now Time to move on to greener pastures where the cheese is harder to cut, and has more holes - "Switzerland: the Game" awaits

Hehe - I've got it already. Why do you think I haven't been on this forum answering easy questions for a week? It is rather good, though Morrowind beats the socks off it when it comes to graphics. There are a few annoying features, but then even if you can't find cheese (I'm not doubting you for a second, though ) you can go online, play Dungeon Master, possess goblins and kill people who think you're going to be a walkover! Priceless

If you want to know my opinion about nwn-go to spears vs blunt weapons thread-sounds a bit off topic doesnt it?
While I never played nwn-I wasnt impressed with it when I watched it-so I wont add nwn to my collection of rpg's.
Kameleon-Glad you are still playing Morrowind and Im glad you like Morrowind better. Do you see yourself playing more Morrowind or nwn in the near future?
I think nwn had way to much hype and thats why I am disappointed. Morrowind, on the other hand-I never heard of it before I got it. One of my friends just randomly walked up to me and said he was going to get the game and he asked me whether I would like a copy. So I said yes. And before I know it-I am playing the second best rpg I have ever played. (second only to BGII).

“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

I was also very disappointed with NWN, however it's still bloddy good - I think I totally ripped it out of the poor game in this thread but it doesn't totally deserve that - as I've played it more (almost to the exclusion of Morrowind too) I'm enjoying it more. Probably when I'm finished with it I'll go back to Morrowind, right now though I'm happy with one. There'll be plenty of gaps to fill in the future where having Morrowind will be loads of fun Maybe I'll even have a good enough computer to be able to run it without stuttering then...Originally posted by Tybaltus

BG and BG2 beat the socks off either game, though...
EDIT: Hmm, it often helps when I make my links point to something

Sorry to say this but...
NWN is the ULTIMATE cheese game! a 2 year old could go in and make himself max level with uber cheese equipment. The toolset that comes with the game allows you to make your own equipment and use it on normal online games. You might think "Oh, but what about the level restrictions, you cant make THAT good of equipment, can you?", yes you can, at level 20 you can pile a butt load of elemental and weapon resists on to EVERY piece of your equipment and be practically invulnerable to everything, not to mention the "Spell Immunity: Spell School" that you can put on a piece of equipment that allows you to not get hurt by anything from that particular spell school (i.e. evocation, necromancy, conjuration etc.). Basically, NWN lets you do just about anything with your char to make it uber with no reprecussions

tybaltus, your friend BOUGHT you the game, right???
i mean we both have ragged on super t, that weenie in another thread for piracy...
anyway, now nwn does not sound really that appealing, since too easy cheese is rather annoying...
mw and bg2 are really fun, since you really have to be creative in cheese...NOT...but designing uber items is at least harder in mw, since i restict myself to the built in enchanters guild and alchemy and spell maker...
even then i am very proud of the super jump and bound keening class superweapons.....
well, i am really looking foward to quitch's immie relationship mod, which expands the immie npc in bg2, no romance, but it fleshes out the absolute fav char in bg2 for many people...
and lucythebeast is putting out chloe, which sounds fun...
"bad bun bun, bad bunny!!!!"
and if they get them out soon, i will upload bun bun ver 4, the locked wildsurge kensai cleric wildmage...a concept i have been developing, but requires a full uninstall and reinstall of bg2, ickkk...
but i am also doing my annual backup all files to cd rom for recovery later, so hmmm.....

oh yeah, kanji, some people and i have tested spell immunity in bg2, and we have discovered this...they stack...
so as long as you cast spell immunity abjuration LAST, you can make yourself completely invulnerable, to all combat spellls...
spell immunity is an abjuration spell...
but lets face it, with spell immunity div and imp inv, you made yourself invulnerable to spell in bg2 anyway...the ai went "no can see!!!" and the monsters sorta gave up on you...
