If you put game's frame rate to 60, and try all the time to talk to Solaufein, his lines with the other party members and with you as well come quickly. By the time you enter the Elven Palace you are near to the point when he will tell you to go out of the city at night because he feels the calling of his goddess. [Before that point, however, there are two very nasty fights to give; one of them is for Solaufein and Solaufein alone !!
) ]When you put the harp and horn on the statues' hands, and the stairs leading to the Tree of Life appear, every party member says something to you. Now, if your romance with Solaufein is completed, and his goddess has granted him with a nice gift --it depends on how you have answered his questions-- Solaufein's lines are quite touching: that's what a female pc would like Anomen to have said to her, I suppose.
If you the romance is not complete, Solaufein's lines are different. It's worth trying to save before entering the Elven Palace and try to witness the two different dialogues.
