I can, i will make it based on the Short Sword of backstabbing, do you want it to be enchanted to hit +10 also? For something negative, how about it sets your charisma to 3, and lowers dex by 3 or 4, or it could have a small chance of doing damage to the wielder every srike (say in the 4-9% range).

why so much disadvantages
the impaler hasn't got any big ones and it is also a +10 weapon.

btw does anybody know why the impaler has none disadvantages??

no it isnt really a +10 weapon, it does an extra 10 points of damage but doesnt count as a +10 weapon or give a +10 thaco bonus

I say give the weapon a chance to hit you back.

For a gambler's sword, let each critical hit you get against the enemy turn against yourself as well. Now that'd be a dangerous weapon, both to the enemy and to yourself.. :D

I Like to create balanced items, Ie a sword that grants such incredible bonuses to hit, should make you equally vulnearable to being hit. I mean what fun is it if you walk around the entire game with -15 AC and hit for +30 damage? Not much...thats why i want it to have drawbacks, so that you have to decide that the +10 is worth the penalty. Also im guessing this sword is for a thief, to help even them out for melee.

I made the sword and it lowers dex by 3 and has a 5% chance of inflicting 1-12 damage while equipped.I named it the Demons Wrath +10.

The infinity engine is limited in what it can do. I can make you have a 20% chance of raising your thaco say from whatever it is to 20, or something similar, however for you to not attack, is impossible.
