crash after fighting villainess (potential spoiler?)

Hi.
I have gotten to the point where I battle Kya Mordrayn and after she dies the game freezes and crashes. I suspect that it has something to do with one of my charaacters going up a level from the xp we get after fighintg her.

Is there an xp cap? If I go finish some quests will this be enough to put me over the top earlier?

Or does anyone know something about this bug?

I believe i've heard this bug before, since after you defeat Kya there is a movie scene, maybe it is a problem with your video card. I would suggest check the drivers of your card and the Directx drivers you have installed, and apply the latest patch if you haven't already.

The xp cap is for single class level 16 and multi class level 32(combined levels of all classes). There is also a good idea to level up before fighting Kya, maybe this too is causing some kind of problem.

The video rums properly. After the video the Annorwyn heals us then the level up menu comes up and it freezes.
My charcater reached 16th level Cleric a while ago. Now he's 16 cler/1 barbarian/1 rogue. Is there a total xp is before we enter tha cave 165,000.

I'm roaming around looking for some XP to see If I can max out.

For more xp, before you fight Kya and get near the middle of the Pool, right where Kya is trying to trick you into listening her, if you let her trick you she will be able to bring more enemies to fight. Let this happen and fight them, they offer more xp IIRC, or try to complete any unfinished quest you left behind.

If this does not level up your character it might be a good idea to edit the xp with an editor of the game.(Black Adder or Gubsy

still crashes

I think I'm giving up.
I solved the level up problem (That cahracter was dead at the end of the battle.)
It still crashed.

As a last resort, i would suggest unistalling/reinstalling the game. Have you tried it?
