NPC interaction

Hi everybody!
I recently finished BG2, and just started off a 2nd game. 1st time around I played very straight, kept to the quests, behaved nicely with a good party and had no romances. This time around, I'd like to explore some of the amusing NPC interaction I have heard about. So, my questions are:

- Can you get Minsc to attack Edwin if you keep them both in the party?
- Will the constant verbal fighting between Aerie, Viconia and Jaheria eventually result in any consequencies ie attacking each other? How far can you stretch the flirting without having to choose one of them? (I don't want the patch for having them all 3)
- What other NPC interaction is there?

Dont worrie, he will attack Edwin.
Also they fight until you got to select one, nothing more will happen after.(they dont attack each other)
Boy, many. Keldorn vr Viconia, Jan vs Amomen, too many to go over it all.....

Jan vs Anomen? That's just a spat, as I recall. I don't think you're forced to choose between 'em.

Now, Anomen vs Edwin, and Keldorn vs Viconia, as I recall, are physical assaults.

Hello and welcome

OK now to answer your questions...

1. Yes Minsc does eventually attack Edwin if they're both in your party. One by one Edwin teases every NPC in you're party, saving Minsc till last. They have a few dialogues before Minsc actually attacks him though. On the last dialogue Edwin goes too far by saying bad things about Dynaheir, so they both leave your party to fight to the death. This actually annoyed me because I wanted both of them in my party! lol

2. As far as I know, no. You can stretch it to the point where you have to choose one of them, and the other 1 or 2 will just get grumpy and never speak another romance dialogue, but no they don't go as far as attacking each other.

3. HEAPS! It would take ages to tell you each and every one. I'm pretty sure that all NPCs have a dialogue with one another. Of course some are pretty serious (like Keldorn and Viconia...it gets to the point where they leave your party to fight to the death too), while some are just damn hilarious (like Minsc and Jan). If you want to know all the main ones, I suggest you go to the NPCs section of this website where it has a list of all the NPCs and their important interactions between other NPCs.

I'm happy to hear Minsc will attack Edwin, can't wait for that. Is there noone who will attack Aerie? Although I pity her, I would enjoy a violent end to her constant whining about her lost wings.

I could be wrong here, but I think Anomen attacks Aerie some time after he fails to get knighted...
