What is the little blue pendant for?

Post by Bri Guy »

OK, I'm new at this. When you first start the game, you find a little blue pendant (amulet or something).. do I need to hold this item? I can't sell it to Nottle, it's not worth anything. Should I connect this to the necklace that's missing the amulet in the main halls?

I know the answer will spoil something for me, I'm willing to take that chance, I'm just getting frustrated trying to figure out what to do with this..

Thanks in advance

Actually it lloks like a blue orb. You will need it much later so keep it with you, or be spoiled :)

Hightlight for spoiler
Later in the game you will need this to free one of the orrery planets, the orrey planets are the source for transporting thoughtout Myth Drannor, but you have to restore them first.

You are welcome :) and keep in mind that anything that has no value it will probably be needed later on.

Actually, that makes me think of a question... even though these small "quest items" (I guess that's what they are) really weigh next to nothing, is there a place I can store them, like a chest or something, instead of carrying them around?

For an item like this, it's no big deal, but when you start getting magical hammers and swords and armor (oh my), you become encumbered.

IMO there is no need to store items in this game, however dropping them to the ground, they will vanish after some time but i think that if you place them inside a container they will stay there, but i'm not completely sure.

Anyway you will find out that the game has a vast amount of items and you will always find better weapons from the ones you have, and since buy/sell system of the game is not much, even some great weapons will just take place in your inventory later on. :)
