Chap. 1 - Evil Quest - Bug? Possible Spoiler.

All right, so I was doing the Tomb of Never quest, and agreed with Gilles in the Moonstone Mask to deliver the items to him, instead of Oleff. I've already delivered the journal and the armor to him, in that order, but for some reason I can't give him the Ancient Symbol of Tyr, the option to show it to him and/or give it to him, simple isn't there when I speak to him, even though I'm carrying it.

At first I thought there might have been some more items in the third tomb, but I went back and it was empty, so for further confirmation I tried going to Oleff, and found out that I *could* give it to him. Which I of course didn't.

So my question is, is this a bug? Or have I delivered the items in the wrong order or something? It's rather frustrating for me to have unsolved quests, especially when I don't feel I've made any errors.

Same thing happened to me, but while doing the good-aligned version of this quest. I was holding one of the retrieved items in my inventory (I think it was the rusted armor) and the dialogue option to turn it in simply wasn´t there. It seems the game somehow did not recognize I had the needed thing on me.

So I went for another artifact, then got back to the temple, and fortunately this time dialogue options for both items appeared.

Oh, and I also recall that in spite of getting the xp and reward for completing this quest, the journal entry never moved to the "completed" status, so don`t worry if this happens to you too, means nothing.
