Help In Asylum (Spoilers)

Post by Aramant »

This is a rather distressing problem. I'm in the maze part of the Asylum, and I've killed Daecon (or whatever his name is) the vampire, receiving his hand. Now, I went off to slay the kobolds, and won, naturally. Anyway, the little text message appeared, telling me that a peice of the crystal has broken off into my hand, or whatever. However, my protagonist's inventory was full, so I got the "Item Dropped" message. What usually happens is that the item in slot one goes to the ground, and the new item takes it's place. Usually.

Just after this all happened, my wonderful brother tells me to get off the computer, so I comply, saving the game without re-organizing my inventory, figuring that nothing would change, and then I closed the program.

This evening, I loaded my game, and the crystal was neither on the ground under my character, or any NPC's, nor in anyone's inventory. I've looked everywhere, and it simply is not there. As I'm quite far in the game, and am sure it is a technical glitch, I'm quite happy to cheat just this once to get the crystal I need. However, I have no idea about how to do that.

So, essentially, my request is for instructions on how to get the crystal via importing items. I am totally ignorant of how to do this, so if anyone indulges me, I'd appreciate the "Importing Items For Dummies" version of instructions. Thank you.

Try Shadow Keeper. It is available in a link in the Crossroads sticky, and it is a very user friendly program. Download the program, run it, and chose to load one of your saved games, go to your inventory and add the item from a list to an empty slot.
