Post by mikeg »

if you put the drow stuff in a bag of holding, can you sell it up top at merchants without it disintegrating? maybe i should just sell it to the druegor down here?

no...
It will also disintegrate in the bag of holding...

I only know one way to keep Drow stuff without it disintegrating, but that is probably a spoiler, and alittle cheating, cuz I don´t think it is meant to have drow stuff outside the underdark.

You can put the drow stuff on imoen and send her back to the copper coronet before leaving the underdark, the go there and get her back with all equipement drow, but if you go back to that area where is the underdark entrance the equipement will disintegrate , its just a matter of leaving the drow equipement on your stronghold and then go back,
but it isnt right, the game is already easy without the drow equipement and it isnt needed.

Yep...it is cheating, or let us say, using a bug...I wouldn´t use it if this is your first time you play BG2...

@mikeg....if you think it will help your enjoyment of the game do it...cheating or using a bug shouldn't matter....all that should matter is your enjoyment of the game.

Should I have the right to tell you not to use this or that....should anyone have the right to tell you how to play YOUR game.

That is quite enough, both of you. Image

There is no point argueing what is right or wrong as you are doing... There will never end, I think.

My friend if I was attacking you, you would know....

That is my opinion...And there is proof to back it up...check the last couple of days of post and tell me I'm wrong...IF I had a problem with you I would use your name.

I even stated once I wasn't singling you out ...I didn't say one word about you. So who is attacking you?

@Minerva...I would stop...but this has gotten out of hand....next thing will be your cheating if you use any weapon in the game... Image Image LMAO

Attacking is a wide term to use I think...but in atatcking on a board, where I will say alot of attacks is opinions.

What is wrong with the board if it is looking like this?

"this place has turned into...My character is the best....don't use this...don't use that...if you use the Cloak of Mirroring your cheating."

People come here to chat and help others, by also stating there own opinion.

You also stated your opinion in the start by saying:

"@mikeg....if you think it will help your enjoyment of the game do it...cheating or using a bug shouldn't matter....all that should matter is your enjoyment of the game."

I took it as an attack on me, when you said:

"Should I have the right to tell you not to use this or that....should anyone have the right to tell you how to play YOUR game."

Cuz none has said anything about what he should do or how he should play his game, but I was the first posting and the last before your reply, so I took your post as directed against me.

Actually is not cheating by using AD&D rules, it does take some time to the adamantion to disintegrate, several days in fact.
- Waterdeep city constrution.

- Shadowdale low level adventure module.

- Rashmare /Thay high level adventure module.

Well, it is probably not meant by BG2 that drow items should be used outside, so it is a kind of using a bug.

Did you post this?? no

Yes people come here to talk about the game....people also come here for help... some people just enjoy the game...Now someone comes along and asks about trying to get something and what is posted...look back and tell me...opinions about it will make your game easy....it's a bug...cheating.

I'm I wrong? Is that not what has been posted?

Quoted mikeg
if you put the drow stuff in a bag of holding, can you sell it up top at merchants without it disintegrating? maybe i should just sell it to the druegor down here?

Now where did he ask if it was easy if you used the Drow equipment? Where did he ask if it was considered a bug or cheating?

No he din´t ask any of that, but I have the right to tell my opinion.
But I was just letting him know that the only way I knew it could be done was by using a bug in the game.
There are probably some people out there, who dosen´t want to do that.

So I didn't have the right to state mine right back....without attacking you.

To let you know I did not get the Drow equipment....it was my chose. I wasn't even posting to you...you seem to think I was.

I have stated my opinion....do what ever makes your game give you the most enjoyment.

@Minerva...you know I am.. Image Image
