We all know he's actually a letch (albeit a sweet one) at heart.... Afterall...the real reason he's a druid is so he can frollic in the wilds with svelte and obliging forest nymphs....Originally posted by Bloodstalker

Taking my name in vain?
Some of the guys wondered how I lucked out. I postulated that I am "safe"
Or known to be well-hung. One of the two..... ![Stick Out Tongue :p](./images/smilies/)
Oddly, on the survey I'm currently doing in New Mexico, all the women wanted to be on my crew. They called themselves "Charlie's Angles"Originally posted by Bloodstalker

While reading BS's post (nice post, by the way) a question hit me. Now, I don't know if this has been discussed before ( I haven't been here that long...I read the books, but a lot of you know how my memory is...) so I'll just blurt it out as a refresh.
When Cernd was mentioned, I was wondering if the Dark Flame sage is taking place before or after the Time of Troubles? When does this time correspond to the Bhaalspawn saga...Or are we even going by the story-line of BG2?
This just kind of bugged me. I wanted to mention Faldorn when I was talking about the Shadow Druids, but I didn't know exactly what time period we were in. (You can say that I didn't want Faldy to be five-hundred years old and still alive to employ Aqua-chan for the Shadow Druids).
Thanxies!
EDIT: Another question came to mind (I told ya'all I'm BLANK in the head) is if and what NPCs people have mentioned before. I don't want to have Aqua bumping into Valygar anywhere along the line, then inviting him over for dinner when another DF member has either fought with/attacked/killed the guy. *That* could cause some problems...

The exact time frame I am not sure of, But the whole DF built out of a discussion about Anomen's romance, which turned into Anomen's harem, which kept evolving.
There have been several mentions of other characters from the BG series as well. I always assumed it may have happened i after the game ends, as I remember a couple posts referenceing certain character's in the context of their future after the game (I.E. farscape encountering Keldorn's spirit)
I never really thought about it much though......it's a good question.![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/)

I'm so glad I could actually come up with a descent question for once...It just got me thinking (!!!) about how and when this was going to work... So, basically from what I can figure from the few readings that I do remember, it seems that the charactors have all gone through thier futures, while others are still getting there. Whatever is convenient, I suppose? I just don't wanna ressurect any dead guys...
What *did* the Dark Flames do with Anomen anyways? One day he was there, the next he...wasn't.
Did ya'all chase him away or what?

LOL.....Anomen seemed to have had a falling out with the original harem.
I can't remember the specifics, I wasn't active in the story back then, and it's been awhile since I read it, but I think in the end they worked stuff out and just went their seperate ways. Of course, it was a little more interesting that that.
So I didn't kill him.....sigh
As far as who you can feel safe inviting over
well, I doubt any of the ladies would mind seeing valygar. Korgan might draw some interesting responses, being a bloodthirsty drawf, but I think the "good" NPC's would be all right. If someone did have a problem with one in the past, well, it would just spice things up a little. ![Cool ](./images/smilies/)

So far, everyone is still resting Gwally, and knwing how slow it gets on the weekends, I would feel safe in saying we'll still be resting when you get back.
btw, it sounds like you have a cool job. I used to want to be a palentologist.![Cool ](./images/smilies/)

Do you need us to hold out on the story line for a bit? I'm sure my imaginative mind can come up with some interesting side-plot invlolving that Minaiture Giant Space Mouse that has crawled into your pack while you were sleeping.Originally posted by Gwalchmai
Through Sunday.Limited access to the internet means I can't even catch up in the story. I have some ideas, but I don't know if you guys are proceeding without me..... That's okay. Comes with the job....

You wouldn't have killed him anyways...Not unless you wanted an angry mob of Harem girls at your throat. But, I know you're smarter than that.
I'll have to re-read some of the first books over again to get it into my head. Maybe I can find some interesting unfinished side-quests that people never finished? Hmm...I think I'd like to dig something like that up...Well, I got nothin to do tonight, SO...
