A Bug or ???

You get a quest from Solaufein (in the Drow City)to rescue a matron mothers daughter from the Illithids. You meet with him at the entrence to the Illithid city (southeast corner of the underdark). But where the f*** is this daughter i'm suppose to rescue...the entire illithid lvl are cleared...there's nothing left (this was done before I got the "rescue matron mother's daughter" quest)...is this a bug or have I missed something..is the daughte in the Illithid lvl or somewhere else??...please help me...i'm kind of stuck if I can't complete this quest.

Try around the bridge in the bottom right corner of the Underdark.

Hmmm...is this the location of the matron mothers daugther or do you mean that this is where I find the location the Illithid dungeon.....i know where the dungeon is...I have cleared it...but I can't seem to find this daughter anywhere....????

When you approch the brigde and talk to Solaufein, he will cast some sort of spell and that will rip the mind flayers out of there "planar travel"(or something) and they will appere almost on top of you. IIRC 3-4 flayers and 2-3 Umber Hulks.

She is not inside the city.

Have you tried talking to Solaufein at the brigde area?

@Mortarion this the location of the daughter..As Xandax said she will appear a couple of seconds after you talk to Solaufein.

Damn...then it's a bug...I have talked to Solaufein and nothing happend....when i talk to him now, he says "My mind is occupied with thoughts of the future and I have no time for idle chatter"

But thanks...now I know why I can't find the Daughter.

Try leaving the area so the game quicksaves, (back to the city - Beholder dungon, etc

and then come back.

Often I feel like these save/load of an area can fix these bugs. Try it before reloading, it might help (or it might not

Did you accidentally exceed the time limit that was given by him(IIRC 12 hours) to meet him near the mind flayer area?

it's a bug! I had the same problem the first time. all the demands were fulfilled and still the mind dudes did come out of their little dimension doors! load and try again that's all there is to do, sorry

I had the same thing and had to reload, rescue that drow chick and then clean out the mind flayers hq. It only take an hour or so.

I have the same problem, but isnt there anyway to fix it?

I dont have any save-games that goes back that far!
