Which single class do you think most of all is just too powerful for their own good, or can otherwise make the game too easy?
I say cavalier; from my own experience he was pretty much the star of ToB the whole time. He died less than even my monk did and killed things just as quickly (and some things even more so).
Note that I am only asking for SINGLE-CLASSES. So please, no kensai/mages or ranger/clerics if you decide to vote "other."
Most Overpowered Single Class?

I say sorcerer
The other classes you have mentioned, are indeed powerfull. But they are static, they start at X power lvl and so they remain regardless of how well you play them which makes them better than a sorcerer of the blocks but, for somone who knows there game and is willing to put the time and effort in smart spell picks and strats the sorc is certainly better
A sorc when poorly played is weak, but when played to his maximum potential he is far beyond ANY other class and I doubt anyone can deny this, simply for the available cheese and poor implementation of items and spells such as project image and staff of the magi

Definitely sorcerers. At high levels they become insanely powerful. As User said, chain contingency + PI is the answer to any battle. Especialy when combined with Summon Planetar (love that combination)
There are 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't.
I think I think, therefore I might be.

if you include multis in the allowed votes, ceric mages come awefully close to sorc in pure power...
aerie+chaincontingency+3 devas is incredibly fast, very deadly, and the only way i know of to beat eclipse in sola mod...
wildmage at high levels is fairly killer too...very deadly...incredible versatility of a sorc, with spells for all occasions...

Yup these three, although only really in solo play or towards the end of ToB. You just can't beat the power of a magic user.Originally posted by UserUnfriendly

BTW the cleric spell earthquake is useful for cleric/mage as is contingency - heal
Well Preacher do you think you can preach faster than I can draw?
