What is your favorite race?
What is your favorite race?
Well I like opinion threads.
What race in Morrowind is your favorite and why?
What race is your least favorite and why?
My answer to my own question is:
Favorite-Argonian. I really like the way the Argonian looks. Very cool. Cant complain about the resistances either. I think that they are also flexible on what class they can be. They can be mages, warriors, or thieves without any penalties. You can be anything as an Argonian
Least favorite-High Elves. They are massively ugly IMO. The only logical class they can be are mages and they have huge downfall abilities.
So what does everyone else think? (I hope this thread is more popular than my last one)

“Caw, Caw!” The call of the wild calls you. Are you listening? Do you dare challenge their power? Do you dare invade? Nature will always triumph in the end.

First time i created a Nord character, i can't say i was dissapointed with him, i just didn't make the right choices to major/minor skills. Anyway i just love 100% resistances.
Second time i create an imperial character cause this race was more suitable for the skills i wanted to use and it turns out pretty good, i guess it is my favourite ... for now.

I like the Nord best thus far. But Ive not tried them all yet. The biggest problem I have with the races that I just cant bring myself to play as (wood elf, orc, high elf) is that they're just too ugly. Also, the first race I played was wood elf, and I was embarrased at how squeaky my fellow elves were.
Seen any elves lately. . .

I Like my Breton. Great magic perks, I like the magic aspect of the game, maybe not so physical, but smart, personable, and versitle. You can always train up on strength, if you have enough patients. I concede that because of the physical aspect,it may play a little slow for the more high octane players, but if you are taking your time, casting spells, enchanting, summoning, etc...talking to folks and stumbling into and out of trouble, It seems like the way to go. Throw on some fortify strength/speed/endurance enchantments and you have a character that can handle the toughest Orc or nastiest Mage, and look good doing it.............

my fav. race is woodelf coz that's what i am currently using though i must say that the male woodelfs are pretty ugly (i'm a female) and i thought that woodelfs were suppose to be good looking??!!
(In the lord of rings they are)
i think the most normal looking are the nords and the redguards.
i dislike ORCs they are just too orchish for my liking and the high elves look very evil (and they seem to be good for magic only)

I chose a Nord first time out and I've still got a long way to go. I was swayed by the resistances. Fighting Frost Atronachs is great when you have 100% cold resistance!
I think next time I will choose a Redguard, the most combat-oriented race, it just fits in with my whole approach to the game.

"Magic is impressive but Minsc leads now, swords for everyone!"
"It is no shame to run away now and to come back later with bigger swords!"

I thought that the orc was the most combat related race, but their special ability is awful. If you want a warrior-there are 2 good races-redguard(best warrior) and nord.

I would have to say Redoran, they were my first successful race and they seem to have a respect off most of the creatures in the land, they lack magical abilities but as fighters i consider them the best in the fields important to my fighters.
I'd have to get drunk every night and talk about virility...And those Pink elephants I'd see.
Current Favorite: Breton - for the Magicka bonus, of course
Least Favorite: High elves - too ugly and too many penalties

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.
