I don't believe it's chapter-based. You just have to say the right things when he initiates dialogues with you, though I don't know the right options (me being a male and all). Aqua-Chen probably knows everything about Anomen though. When she sees this thread, all your questions will be answered. ;)

There is also the option of having a romance with Kelsey and/or with Solaufein. You have to download and install the mods though.

You should start getting romance dialogs (with music) in chapter 2, providing your character is a human, elf, half-elf, or halfling. The romance pretty much gets put on hold in chapters 4 and 5, then continues in chapter 6.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

About dialogue choices - in the earlier dialogues, it doesn't make too much difference what you say, as long as you don't tell him to sod off... :D It really gets going though after his Test... ;)

He he... My reputation picks up! :D

A slight warning, however, is that the romance can go two ways. Both have really great dialoques, but both have some consequences.

And, whatever you do, don't make fun of Moira. :D

Anomen has a thing for his sister, you see...If I were you I'd just go and download Kelsey or Solaufein, save yourself the bother of having to put up with the equal whiniest NPC in the game.

I hear Solaufein is quite good. :)

...and Kelsey, too. And I think she would like Kelsey better (more sensitive, more caring and tender, you know, staff like that). Plus, Kelsey has more lines.

I'd suggest fire_bird install both of them, but NOT the additional patch which causes a romance conflict, and one has to choose between the two. ;)

I haven't played the whole romance mods, but from what I have played, I found them quite buggy. It also depends on who else you want in your party, a fighter/cleric might be far more handy than a sorcerer.

You think you're so dang cute.

Kelsey was, (And I mean NO offence to Jcomompton whatsoever - we've gone through this one before) somewhat dull. I just don't think a lot of the adventuring women would want to date a merchant who just found out that he was a Sorcerer when his hands suddenly burst into fire.

Besides, I don't even *like* Sorcerers. :D

Never tried Sola. They told me that he was kind of... muggy.

We're all entitled to our opinions.

Yep. Except you, Odie. :p :D

If you like your men poetic, then Sola could be a good bet. ;)

Of course, I am entitled to my opinion, you are also welcome. :D

Apart from this, it's curious to hear that Kelsey and Solaufein mods are buggy. These two mods have been created with the same engine, they are perfectly compatible, and I haven't heard anyone complaining about bugs with these two mods.

Can you mention something in specific?

Cheers

Well, there are still a few bugs in each mod, I'm sure. If there weren't, Kelsey would still be on 1.0.0 and the only reason Solaufein would be upgraded would be to add new content, but that's not the case, we've both had bugs to fix, and we've still got bugs to fix. Rather famously, sometimes Kelsey's enemies would spawn endlessly. That's been fixed, though.

That said, many many thousands of people seem to be quietly enjoying them, but if there's a problem on someone's machine, of course we'd like to know.

Well, it is the first time I heard it. In any case, I haven't had any problems with these two mods installed. And I mean only these two.

No, dear, I know I'm cute, that's why I get away with most of my schemes. :) *hug*
@Georgi-You like Anomen, so it's fairly obvious you don't like men with enough brains to hold their own opinions anyway. :p *hug for no special reason*

So that this isn't spam, I'll just say that I have Kelsey installed and I've yet to encounter any bugs, apart from the one where he repeatedly asks to join your party, which has been fixed by the latest patch anyway.
