Enchanting

I want to enchant an item that can open any locks in the game (I've read about it somewhere..) but I don't have the slighest idea how to make one. Okay, so I get a ring, take it to an enchanter at a mage's guild, pay the gold and s/he will enchant it for me? What about the business with trapping monsters inside soulstones and all?

Enchanting 101.......
easiest way is get a soul gem in your inventory, buy a scroll of Phrygy's Gem Feeder from an enchanter, For your first harvest I would recomend a critter like a Cliff Racer or less, and a petty soul gem (you can find by snooping around in boxes in allies

1. Cast Spell on Critter
2. Kill Critter (soul will automically be trapped in gem if successful)
3. Take Soul Gem and Item to your friendly local enchanter
4. Choose spell from YOUR spell inventory. (You must already have the spell or spell class desired to get it in the option menue)
5. Take lots of cash.
