I wont, I promise. :) Yes, unfortunatly it was a small and whimpy rain, it must have withered away on its journey across the atlantic.

Must not have been the same rain I got. There was a thunderstorm for about an hour here, and the power went out twice. I really hate my power supplier, they have put the power out for up to 4 hours on certain sunny days. :(

But some of the thunder shook the house and I think a lightning bolt hit some tree across the street.

It was the bloody humidity over the nation, I think. Today was the second worst humid day this year. Though I dont hate it that much. I can deal with the heat and/or humidity.

@Dottie-I live in Massachusetts-close to Boston, sort of. The power supply service is just a nuscence (I killed the spelling of that, didnt I?) I can deal with their inept services, its just a matter of patience.

Oh yeah. And Im sure youll be raving about the 2 or 3 hour power outage. Sure its fun to watch rain pelt down on people running from their cars ;) :D but the fun is gone when youre waiting out a power outage.

@Tybby Ok, so that's not so good... but thunderstorms are fun!! I particularly enjoyed the hurricane we had in '87(?)... ;) BTW, the word is "nuisance" ;)

@Dottie Not rain necessarily, but thunderstorms - lightning, thunder, dramatic weather like that! :D

I agree. :) You must have civilisation just a short distance away to truly enjoy it though. ;)

I didnt realize Hurricanes reached England. That Hurricane in 1987 must have been a pretty weak one.

And I knew I butchered the word nuisance. Its not like Im going to look up the words in a dictionary before I post them. But oh well. :rolleyes:

Just the one, in my lifetime at least... and after the weatherman assured us that we wouldn't have one, as well. :D Yes, it was probably weak by most standards, it took quite a few trees down though, did quite a lot of damage.

@Dottie I agree ;)

G'night@BS *hug* :)

Actually I should head for bed as well... G'night Tybby and Dottie *hugs* ;)

Up here in Massachusetts, we dont get many hurricanes. Once every 5 years or so. Usually they are tropical storms that breach this far north. If I lived in Virginia or Florida, I could write a novel on hurricanes experienced in the last 5 years. Last hurricane we got, it didnt knock over trees on my immediate area, so the hurricane you experienced was probably a pretty decent one due to the fact that England isnt in the common terratory of hurricanes.

EDIT-Well, Im off to bed. See you all later :)
